My Review – I will be taking many trips this year (after all it’s my business too ) with Resorts360 and intend on reviewing each of them honestly. This is also good for my accounting!

The Cost

The Villa cost me $275 – £169 for the week. This included all taxes/charges etc. We could also sleep up to six if we wanted and that cost could be split!

We took a 3 bedroom detached villa (one level) with air con. All the rooms were of a good size and the kitchen had everything we needed. The villa was very clean and loads of towels were provided.  

The Location

Without a doubt this is for the golfers- and that is why we booked here. There are two championship standard courses within 200 yards of the resort. Los Lagos & Los Olivos. We played both and really enjoyed them. (especially seeing as it was cold and snowing when we left home) Also on the resort there is a 5 start hotel where you can use the facilities such as Spa and gym (extra cost) – we were a two minute walk away. There were several decent restaurants nearby but if you are planning to eat out a lot you’d want a hire car.

The Courses

Los Olivos – Designed by Robert Trent Senior, the main feature which distinguishes this course from The Lakes is the abundance of trees – hence the name – and its smaller size, as well as fewer water hazards. The greens are smaller, undulating and well defended. Although both are the work of the same designer, there is no doubt there are interesting contrasts between the two courses: if Los Lagos are based on hazards of water and sand, Los Olivos is strategic narrow tree lined fairways and elevated greens

Los Lagos – With its 6,367 metres, this course is the longer of the two which comprise of Mijas Golf. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior, Los Lagos is a ground course with wide fairways and a few forest trees obstacles, but is defended by many bunkers and nine lakes, from which the course gets its name and which easily trap the ball. It is a course with soft movement and large greens. It could be said that the American designer wanted to present a course especially for amateurs, but at the same time, it can present a challenge for the best players..

Summary

We really enjoyed our stay here. It really did exceed my expectations – probably just because I am used to spending so much more. Also getting away in January is always nice. I will without a doubt be going back as the golf was great and the resort was really nice.

The ‘Laptop lifestyle’ is truly a life changing position to be for you and your family, even if to you that just means being able to work from home. Resorts360 in my opinion is the perfect vehicle for anyone serious about running an internet based business and is passionate about marketing a product with exceptional value.

Well it’s been long overdue!!! Having not updated my previous site for 18 months it was getting pretty desperate! 2009 has so far been an amazing year and I have really enjoyed updating all my stuff and working with my Website & graphics guy to get this finished and give a better representation of me and my life now. 
 
So where do I start? 
 
How about I get personal first, then talk a bit of business. By the way I plan to keep this brief and not be a bore! 
 
I suppose the first thing that many of my long term followers may be surprised to hear is that I separated from my partner Becky back in November. We took a trip to the Maldives and I guess things just weren’t quite right. I have a major belief in mindset and the law of attraction plays a fundamental part in life and I suppose we just didn’t quite see eye to eye on this. Anyway we made the decision to separate and I am pleased to say we remain great friends! 
 
This brings me swiftly onto 2009 and what a great year so far it has been. Back in January I met Cher, my partner. We met through our online businesses and straight away hit it off. Cher too was fairly recently separated and I suppose it’s fair to say neither of us were looking to get tied down again to quickly LOL! Well so much for that theory…… So far this year we have hardly spent any time apart and have had so much fun together. With us both running very successful automated online businesses we have been able to spend a lot of quality time together and share many great moments. 
 
The best for me being in March when we got Bossman, our 7 month old blue staffy – all I can say is I didn’t know it was possible to love a dog so much! I must admit we do spoil him a bit and he comes everywhere with us. Him and Gabe [Chers son] get on so well and it is hilarious watching them play together and tire each other out. 
 
Here is a funny clip of Boss making his great escape when he was just a couple of months old. I could not work out how he kept getting out when we left him in his crate…. Well with a bit of encouragement I found out!
